R20 Asia Pacific was invited to the Star8 factory in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Star8 is an Australian company, committed for green innovative technology, continuously introducing new green products and applications such as solar glass, solar smart roof, hybrid transportations, street lightning.

On the occasion of factory visit Mr. Barito test drive the Electric Bus and Tuk Tuk (three-wheeler community transport, popular in Cambodia, Thailand, as well as Indonesia).

Star8 is a green company committed to reduce carbon emission and has successfully introduced the electric bus to the Philippines as substitute to the traditional mode of transport known as Jeepney.

During the welcome dinner the board member, founder & CEO of Star8 mutually agree to work closely with R20 and establish an affiliation to introduce the Star8 innovative technology to developing countries in ASEAN and to Africa.

The products have been accredited as the best solar power vehicles and best solar power functional products by the Q’ASIA product quality excellence.
